Publish web content

There are many ways to build websites and in many places content management systems (CMS) are used, which display the content directly when you visit the site ( Say “at runtime”) dynamic rendering.

However, if you have quite manageable requirements and would like to save computing time, you can also generate the content in advance (“at translation time”) and then publish it directly as a website.

Hugo technology stack

Hugo belongs to the latter category and impresses with its ease of use and a good selection of Themes.

This blog uses PaperMod and is responsive, meaning the content should be fairly usable on both desktop and mobile devices.

Performance

On the web, the following applies: performance, performance, performance. In any case, the defaults from Hugo and PaperMod seem to be convincing - further details can be found with Google Pagespeed Insights detect.
